Hey Coyle, Poyner & Shmuel - Reinstate the 6-minute Rule and Stop Blaming the Residents for Patel's attempts to Block Free Speech

Well, just heard Council President Harris announced her intention at the last Council Meeting to bring back up Reinstating the Six-minute limit for individual public comments at the July 21, 2025 Meeting.

Good for her.

The sad part about reducing the speaking time to 4-minutes with no rebuttal was the reason given. The Council's position was the stricter time limit was intended to encourage decorum at the meetings, which were loud with disruptive behavior, that distracted Council Members from conducting township business,

Actually, as someone who lived through this - here's another view. It's was all about Free Speech and the disruptions that were caused were solely brought on and due to the disrespect & distain towards Edison Residents Council President Patel engaged in.

It all started with the way he treated Christo, which triggered off the Free Speech turnout by his supporters.

And it got worse from there, from banning the Flag to Kicking People out of Council Meetings just for daring to ask about Joshi's inept Stewardship and any Council or Public Scrutiny of his arguably miserable record - all of which made the town a National embarrassment.

Clearly, while he may be a perfect 'Tool' to do the Mayor's bidding, Patel was unqualified and unprepared to properly handle the meetings and his actions are the reason they cut down the time. Does anyone actually think that the 4-minute rule brought back decorum to Council Meetings?

Seriously, decorum was brought back because Patel was removed from the Council President position and replaced by someone who Respects Free Speech.

So, to Council Members Coyle, Poyner, Shmuel who went along with the outrageous conduct of Patel - reinstate the 6-minutes with rebuttal and Stop punishing the Residents from Speaking because it was Patel who caused the problem - Not the Residents.

A $378.2 School Budget for 2025-26 Approved back in early May but Still doesn't show up on their website

Well, as may or may not know, the $378.2 million Edison School Budget for 2025-26 was passed in early May by a vote of 5Y, 3N and 1 Absent.

That School Budget came with a School Tax Rate of 3.139, which was Reduced 2.7-cents over the prior year. Now, that Reduction in the School Tax Rate had nothing to do with any Reduction in $pending, the Budget actually had an Increase of some $10.8 million in $pending.

There reduction had solely to do with the $62,899,400 Increase in the Ratables bringing it up to $7,486,616,500.

Although you have to shake your head when Board Members like to take credit for No School Tax increase for the last few years, recognize what they don't tell you. They didn't do anything to Reduce the $pending in these Yearly Bloated, Out-of-Control $pending Budgets which would cause the School Tax Rate to fall. They received and are pissing away some $342.9 million in State Aid over the last 5 years with their Out-of-Control $pending, especially with these piecemeal projects that won't properly address the Overcrowding. And when that State aid money Stops coming, and it will, they will be faced with a Humongous School Bond Referendum for a New School.

Just a note for those who ridiculously wanted to increase the School tax Rate in this budget - recognize there's something called the Cap Bank. There's some $28 million sitting in there which will come back to haunt you in the School Tax Rate when the State Aid money Stops coming in at the previous levels.

Not for nothing but this School Budget for 2025-26 was passed back in early May but has yet to show up on their website. They usually have to put up something called 'User Friendly Budget' (which isn't so User Friendly) after the Budget is passed. However, even that version of the School Budget is Not the Budget they send down the County Super for approval. It's just a small selection, around 30 pages, of the entire Budget which for this year is some 183 pages.

Kind of leaves out a whole bunch of information about what's in this School Budget for 2025-26, which is important and which you should be able to see if you want to be informed about what's really going on over there.

So, here's the actual School Budget for 2025-26 that was sent down to the county Super for approval:

Also, with total disbelief, with some 2,400 employees with Salaries & Benefits totaling over half the total Appropriations in this School Budget, they still refuse to provide a Headcount Schedule as part of their School Budget. Take it they don't want to show you how many employees they have in each of their departments for some reason and the changes from the prior year.

Anyhoo, information is knowledge so use this to inform yourself since they aren't willing to share with you.

Oh boy..here we go again - who dares to say We should have a Choice for Mayor in this politically-corrupt town come November?

Well, if you're worried that 'Bubble-boy' Can't Beat 'Em, then try and get 'Em Kicked off the Ballot.

It's Deja Vu all over again and, unlucky - it didn't work this time either.

Geez, how desperate are these people to try and eliminate any competition for their Malleable Marionette?

Anyhoo, I don't know what they're so worried about unless of course they're concerned about his inept Stewardship and dismal record.

Employment Contracts in the School Board's $378M School Budget for 2025-26

Well, the above-mentioned School Budget has Listed 34 Employment Contracts and here are the amounts they listed for 2025-26:

Anyhoo, just something you should be aware of since you won't find them talking about it.

Anyhoo, now you know something they should be telling you.

As disappointing the turnout and outcome of the Dem-party Primary for Mayor here in Edison, there will be a Choice in November

Well, David Tingle has announced his Candidacy for Mayor in November as an Independent.

'I'm excited to announce my candidacy for Mayor of Edison Township as an Independent! After numerous residents reached out, urging me to run, I've decided to step up and offer the true leadership our community needs. Together, we can address the challenges Edison faces and work towards a brighter future. I look forward to your support and to making a positive impact in our township. Let's bring about the change we all know is necessary!'

When You Let Mayor Sam 'Bubble-boy' Joshi Try & Block Free Speech - You Allow His Administration to Escape any Accountability

Well, maybe he thinks he can get away with that Nonsense with his supporters but Not here.

In all years that I have lived in this politically-corrupt, one-party town, I have never seen such actions taken to disenfranchise the Residents/Taxpayers. From banning the Flag to Kicking People out of Council Meetings just for daring to ask about his Inept Stewardship to having to hide out from any Council or Public scrutiny of his miserable record.

From turning the Town into a National Embarrassment and leaving Edison the Permanent Home of the 2017 Racist Flyer, add to that the Frivolous, Wasteful, Questionable and Ridiculous Spending, Warehouse expansion, Uncontrolled approvals of Undersized lots and Oversized houses, Impossible truck traffic, all Adding to School overcrowding and Not Properly Addressing Infrastructure problems - doing all this and Still Raised the Muni taxes by some 7.4%, more than Doubled the Township Debt Yet Only Raised the Ratables by a Ridiculously Low 2.6%.

While he may be a Perfect 'Tool' for the 'Powers that be' to do their bidding, over the last 3 1/2 years, he demonstrably has shown he lacks maturity, experience, honesty, integrity, principles, credibility, truthfulness, political acumen and transparency. Clearly unqualified for the position he holds who has to live in a 'Protective bubble' from his own constituents and more importantly, Clearly Should Not Be the Face of the 6th Largest town in the State.

It's Embarrassing to Live in this town now and I say this as a Life-long Democrat.

After attending a ga-zillion Council Meetings and School Board Meeting over the years, here's something I don't usually do anymore but his 'Pocket Council President' tried to Block Me.

Free Speech is important and You Shouldn't Give it Up.

Anyhoo, it's one thing for having to live with the decades long Dem-party stranglehold on this town and when they now put someone in that position that clearly is so unqualified that he is a constant Embarrassment to the Town and the Good People of this town with his inept and childish actions - but it's quite another thing for those who have to live with his nonsense.
