Geez, what don't you understand Edison Mayor Tom Lankey - the People of Edison Don't Want this Suez Deal!?!

Really now Tom, you're campaigning against the People You Supposedly Represent? Didn't the People of Edison already tell you and those 7 Cowardly Processing clerks over there on 100 Oligarchy Blvd. that THEY DON'T WANT THIS DEAL WITH SUEZ?

And to make matters worse, You're trying to Prey on and Scare the Seniors in town about losing their Sewer & Water Rate freezes?

That's a Tad Bit Not Nice - even for Your Political Maneuvering.

And seriously, using the Township's auditors (Hodulik & Morrison) to do an economic analysis of public vs private ownership? That's a Hoot. You could of at least used someone other than them to do the analysis to support your plan to ignore the People of Edison. Not for nothing but it kind of makes me uncomfortable that Mr. Hodulik is also connected to your Magyar Bank.

Finally, what's Your Major Malfunction Sir? You think some analysis you have put together showing it may cost more to Keep rather than go Private isn't already factored in by those who are telling you NO anyway? You think (but obviously don't hear) there may be other credible and qualitative reasons why they think this $851 million Sewer & Water Deal Stinks to High Heaven?

Be that as it may, this is what happens in this all Dem-party town where the perils of one-party rule aren't perils anymore but reality. They don't care what you say or think - never did, unless it was campaign time and they wanted you to blindly vote for them again.

Here's what I saw on the unidentified website votenoedison.com:

And here's the Hodulik & Morrison Report linked on that website page:

Anyhoo, don't let Mayor Lankey and his Oligarchy Rule try and Push You Down with these underhanded tactics. Vote YES on September 10th and Take Back Control of Your Town from those who will destroy it.

PS: just got these two Suez Flyers in the mail today. First one says Paid for by Suez.

Yes Tom, You Got one thing right - 'Edison Residents Deserve Better' than what You're Doing to them Now!

...and you wonder why the Board of Mythomania aka, Edison Board of Education is so dysfunctional?!?

Well, I unfortunately made a foolish decision to watch Monday Night's Board of Ed Meeting. You'd think I would know better than to watch Jerry 'Needs to Step-down' Shi and his Board of Silence disrespect the public so badly.

But I did and here's some noteworthy things (and I'll ignore the 'Narcissism a la Smart Phone' and the 'You-tube' Candidates for the Board of Ed in November) that caught my attention.

First, wasting $1.5 million for a baseball turf field at Edison High. Bad timing all around with a recent school tax increase, a Humongous yet Undefined $189.5 million Fairy Tale School Bond Referendum and worse, they used money set aside in the capital reserve for the turf field - you know what that reserve includes -  Hoarded taxpayer relief money.

Second, Good job Ralph Errico for spear-heading this latest attack on the resident and taxpayers - thanks for sticking it to the taxpayers with this High Priority of your choice. And where are you Mr. Richard 'School Construction Man' Brescher on this ridiculously thought out and yet undefined plan to $pend $189.5 million with all these Humongous and Silly Hard & Soft Costs? You want this disaster to be Your Crowning Legacy on the Board as you try and head off to the dysfunction on the other side of town? You can bet it will follow you.

Third, Dr. Frank for poignantly pointing out to the Board why the $189.5 million Bond Referendum was a disaster in waiting. Dr. Frank has got that right and you should listen to his comments.

Finally,  and what I really want to comment on is the unbelievable yet inexplicable speech that Board Member Beth Moroney read. It has to be one of the most self-serving and hypocritical things ever spoken out by a Board of Mythomania Member.

It was an embarrassment for her to do such a thing and an embarrassment to watch.

You can't sit silently on the Board for two years and vote for mostly everything Shi wanted to do and then all of a sudden say you have problems with Shi's leadership. She could of and should of spoken up in the public meetings if she so adamantly opposed such things as the Super hiring, the Bond Referendum etc.  But she didn't.

She made herself look ridiculous, small and petty. Further by leading with her face on the issues she was trying to convey, she let Shi continue with his inept, ineffective and less than transparent leadership by pushing it all back on her.

It's too bad for all her points were of importance yet they should of been of importance when they came up and that was the time for her as a Board Member to speak up and out - not now, after it's all said and done.

Now, you can understand why I refer to this Board of Ed by many things and she just highlighted the aka, Board of Silence. They let Shi do what he wants, they don't Stop him, and then later on try and say they were against it.

Shame on You Ms. Moroney for trying to serve your own interests and not the public's interests. All you did was to Publicly demonstrate and highlight for all to see - Your Ineffectiveness as a Board Member. You don't deserve to be serving on the Board and let's hope that gets corrected the next time you're up for election.

Here's the meeting, watch it:

Anyhoo, Kudos to Dr. Frank for trying to bring some reality to this ridiculous attempt by the Board to  put on the ballot an ineffective and poorly thought out attempt to solve the overcrowding.

Gotta Like those Capital Reserve Transfers over there on Mythomania Lane!?! Nice!!

Well, as someone who is all for high school sports, you gotta shake your head at the timing of this one. Think about it - $1.5 million for a turf field when they're sitting on an $189.5 million Bond December Bond Referendum and you still don't know how much it's going to cost you.

Talk about just throwing money away. Good to know that they're using Your Hoarded Taxpayer Relief Money to pay for it out of a Capital Reserve. We should all have such reserves!

If I didn't think this Board of Mythomania wasn't political, I'd kind of think someone was trying to throw a bone to the south-end of town before the November School Board election.

Total waste of money at the worst time after another Bloated and Out-of-Control School $pending Budget of $262.1 million for which we pay some 86% with a 2.1% School tax increase and a Proposed ineffective and yet Undefined $189.5 million School Bond Referendum. Another ambush in the making over there on Mythomania Lane.

Anyhoo,  let's hope there's a serious change of the Board come November since this Board is playing deaf, dumb and blind to Jerry 'Needs to Step-down' Shi's, clandestine, inept and ineffective leadership - all at Your Expense.

Board of Mythomania's Contract with the Acacia Financial Group - You Might Want to Read it!

Well, here's the contract with Acacia Financial, Inc. to work on the ill-conceived and grossly overpriced Proposed 'You Got to Be Kidding Me' $189.5 million School Bond Referendum slated for a vote on December 10, 2019. If you want to see why I think as I do, go to the July 11th post and look at their numbers for the six schools. It's their numbers, not mine - I just did a compilation and if you look at the detail, it looks like somebody just picked and number ($189.5 million) and made up the detail. These numbers make no sense nor does the Cost of $189.5 million.

Anyway, You should read this contract in its entirety. There's some interesting things in here that may get your attention and also give you some insight as too what Jerry 'Needs to Step-down' Shi and his Board of Silence may be contemplating with Your money.

This is the first step in a two step process for me to get the information we all need to see.

First,  I OPRA the Contract and Second, I OPRA their Report which should show how much they plan to bond and for how long and how they plan to bond and what this bonding will Cost YOU (Property tax impact).

Remember, as it sits now, this $189.5 million Mythomania Lane Fairytale leaves $158.4 million on the back to the taxpayers before financing costs. Kind of important to know what the interest will be over the life of whatever it is they plan to bond and/or try and use that old Lease Purchase staple in their toolbox that by-passes voter approval on such capital thingies.

Finally, after I receive their report, I will share with you what this thing will Cost You and proceed to explain to You why, if it stays at $189.5 million, you should Not let them try and hide behind the kids and Vote NO on December 10, 2019.

Overcrowding has been and issue for years over there on Mythomania and I've spent a lot of time pointing out that something needs to be done but just because something needs to be done doesn't mean you just do anything. This anything they're clandestinely putting forth is Ridiculously Bloated and Overpriced, even for what they're proposing to fix the overcrowding, and it's too bad we don't have anyone on the Board of Silence over there who has the where with all to step-Up and Say So.

Anyhoo, pay attention folks, this is too Big a Bloated Pot of Money to Let Go Unchallenged - it's Not all About the Kids, it's all About Sticking it to the long-forgotten stakeholder who pay all the bills, the taxpayers.

Wow! Anthony De Amorin makes his 2nd Bid for the Edison Board of Mythomania - in typical style!?!

Well, someone just pointed me to Mr. De Amorin's announcement for the Edison Board of Education on his FaceBook page.

I'm always happy to see people run for the Board and I was hoping that with 10 people running for 3 spots, we'd at least get one or two who would be filling the missing seat of the taxpayer in the decision-making process over there on Mythomania Lane.

With all due respect to Mr. De Amorin and his work with Suez, I think this Board needs something more than 'Narcissism a la Smart Phone' and I can't imagine voting for this guy. The Board of Mythomania is Bad enough as it is and seating him on this Board would only make it worse.

Here's his announcement:

Anyhoo, acronyms are nice but mean nothing but I take it he'll tell us later what he's going to do from Day 1.
