Edison 2023 3rd Qtr. Estimated Property tax bills are out - and maybe inflated

Well, just saw 2023 3rd Qtr Estimated Property tax bill and it comes with a total rate of $5.923 (Per 100), which is the same as last year's rate. So, there's no change but that can't be right.

Something doesn't seem right here given we already know the Introduced Muni tax tate, Muni Open Space tax rate, Library tax rate and School tax rate as well as an indication of the County taxes and it looks like the $5.923 is overstated by approximately 7 to 9 tenths of a penny.

Why is that important to know? Because that overstatement will erroneously bring approximately $600,000 into the township coffers with these 3rd Qtr. Estimated tax bills.

Made an OPRA Request to see the individual taxing entity rates used in this 3rd Qtr. Estimated tax bill and we'll see.

Anyhoo, we'll see what they provide and will update this post when received.

2023 Muni-budget $170.2m and 'Joshi's Column B Team' - imperfect together

Well, you have to appreciate the dubious claim by Mayor Sam 'Shrink-flation' Joshi, aka Big-boy pants, the Event Planner, the Weathervane Millennial and Sam the Flim-flam man that he has a team.

Does anyone actually believe that Richard Brescher, Ajay Patil and even Joe 'the Florist' Coyle, aka Mayor of Clara Barton, Joe 180 are on his team? They're only there for the Dem-party line so they can get reelected.

The only thing coalescing around Mr. Shrink-flation are his Puppet-masters from the county who hand-picked him and the Stench Still hanging over this town from the 2017 Racist Flyer.

So, the question remains what the 'Joshi Column B' team will do when reviewing Joshi's $170.2 million Muni-budget for 2023 that comes with a tax increase of nearly 3% when they're up for reelection?

Budgets in general, are just a reflection of someone's values. This budget, if looked at in its entirety, clearly is built to lay the groundwork for the next two years when Mr. Shrink-flation' comes up for reelection.

Its 2023 $pending, tax increase, cap-bank and reserve maneuvering and lack of transparency is not in the best interest of the People of Edison - it's in the best interests of Mr. Shrink-flation.

While I recognize this is an election year, even the 'Column B' team has to pretend to do their due diligence and should not be beholding to the misguided political visions and ambitions of an ill-prepared, ill-qualified stewardship that demonstrably lacks the maturity, discipline, transparency, strengths, demeanor, characteristics, experience or political acumen required to be the Mayor of a town the size of Edison.

It's a simple question for them since they already have the line in November.

Does the 2023 Muni-budget benefit the People of Edison or does it lay the groundwork for a Political neophyte trying to climb up the politically corrupt Dem-party ladder on the backs of the People of Edison with smoke and mirrors?

This budget needs a major overhaul and what they do will tell you who is on your side and who just wants to serve their own self-interests in the Dem-party pecking order.

Anyhoo, it's your money they're using for political purposes and wasting, so you might want to pay attention and watch who says what on 'Column B' when this budget comes up for Council adoption.

'Stupidity Should Hurt More Unless You Identify as an Idiot?!?'

Well, the Board of Mythomania, aka Board of Dysfunction, Board of EdDems should Wake up and Step-up and Stop playing Political tug-of-war with each other for power and control of all that Hoarded Money and do something that will actually benefit the School District for a change.

Stop pretending in your childish power struggle that you're looking for the best candidate when you already have him.

He's definitely a very knowledgable person and it's obvious he works well with both sides of the childish power struggles going on over there and brings a stable consistency to the position that's sorely needed in this school district.

Anyhoo, don't identify yourselves as idiots with this nonsense and make Dr. Aldarelli the permanent Super.

Geez, Cry Me a River Why Don't You!?!

Well, just saw this piece 'Has Edison political feud turned into 'Celebrity Deathmatch'? here in mycentraljersey.

Not for nothing but seems like a tad bit strange way to resolve a disagreement among Council Members. Who goes running to the newspapers to address a Spending issue rather than addressing it with the other Council Member? He doesn't want to spar but just wants to make a statement in the newspapers? That seems a tad bit unfair.

Seems Council President Poyner took exception to comments by Council Member Brescher at the June 19th Meeting over the particulars of 1 million contract being awarded not being disclosed to Council Members.

Poyner seems like a nice guy but Never thought that he should of been elected Council President since he clearly is not capable of handling the untenable position he was put in by Mayor Sam 'Shrink-flation' Joshi's modus operandi of trying to stifle and block scrutiny of his inept and opaque stewardship.

His performance sadly displays what being naive and easily misled looks like:

You know with things like trying to limit the time and manner the public gets to speak at meetings, removing the Department Heads so no one can ask them any questions and my favorite now, making all OPRA Requests go to the Legal Gatekeeper makes it hard for the public to place any trust in what goes on over there.

Now, don't get me wrong - everyone deserves to be treated with respect but it's hard not to expect to be challenged when you don't know how to defend what you're putting forth. He clearly doesn't know how to handle differing opinions and push-backs to Joshi's agenda from other Council members and the Public.

Anyhoo, it's not his fault, he actually tries - it's Mr. Shrink-flation's fault for putting someone else (who's not up to it) in an untenable position to do his inept bidding when he won't do it himself.

2023 Muni-budget Appropriations $170,160,235 - Up $12,049,946 or 7.62%

Well, here you go. It's what you get when you let a hand-picked malleable marionette of the powers that be from outside of town play with your money.

A Political neophyte trying to lay the groundwork for the next two years using smoke & mirrors so he can climb up the politically corrupt Dem-party ladder on the backs of the People of Edison.

Enjoy.

Anyhoo, time to pay attention Councilman Joe 'the Florist' Coyle, aka Mayor of Clara Barton, Poster-child for Wards - time to see the forest from the trees.

Here's a 2023 Muni-budget by a Wannabe Career Politician trying to protect his reelection over the next two years

Geez, can it be more obvious what's going on with this 2023 Muni-budget introduced by Mayor Sam 'Shrink-flation' Joshi, aka Big-boy pants, the Event Planner and Sam the Film-flam man?

Take it he doesn't understand that he's a one-termer - as soon as the County is done pulling the strings on their Malleable Marionette, he'll be expeditiously shown the door.

Be that as it may, if you look at this Muni-budget in it's entirely, it's not hard to see the games going on here with the build-up to be used over the next two years when he comes up for reelection. There's a Muni-tax increase (you can see what your tax increase is below) in this 2023 Muni-budget but that's only part of the bigger picture being presented with this Muni-budget.

Now, don't place much credibility with the all-Dem Council providing much in the way of Checks & Balances before they adopt this 2023 Muni-budget but they should at least ask themselves a simple question that's obvious to anyone who looks at these numbers by Mr. Shrink-flation.

Does this 2023 Muni-budget benefit the People of Edison or does it lay the groundwork for a Political neophyte trying to climb up the Dem-party ladder on the backs of the People of Edison with smoke and mirrors?

It's an election year for the Council, but it's not enough for the Council to pretend like they're doing something by cutting a few dollars. A reduction in an unnecessary tax increase is still an unnecessary increase.

This 2023 Muni-budget needs a major overhaul.

Here's the 2023 Muni tax increase - sure looks like they did a tad bit more than just move the $pending forward:

Here's the change from last year:

Anyhoo, let's hope the Council steps-up and and just doesn't do the usual looking at things with eyes wide-shut thingie.

Looks like 'Mr. Shrink-flation' is introducing his '6 1/2 month' Muni-budget for 2023 tonight!?!

Well, saw the agenda for tonight's Council meeting and Mayor Sam 'Shrink-flation' Joshi, aka Big-boy pants, the Event Planner and Sam the Flim-flam man is finally introducing his 2023 Muni-budget.

Not for nothing but how much of a budget is it when you already have 5 1/2 months of the actual $pending? If they waited any longer, we wouldn't need a budget - we'd have the actual results.

Be that as it may, here's where the emergency appropriations stand at less than 6 months into the 2023 Calendar Year:

And here's where we stood two months into the 2023 Calendar Year:

At that time they said they just moved some $pending forward but that's looking a tad bit suspicious at this point in time when we're at 63.59% of the entire Calendar Year 2023 Muni-budget as of June 12, 2023.

We'll have to wait and see the 2023 Muni-budget as soon as they release it to the public.

Just a reminder of the 2022 Property taxes (Per 100) on your property tax bills. Muni tax $1.402, Library tax $0.087, Muni Open space tax $0.010, Muni Garbage tax (Dist 1) $0.218.

County taxes $0.930, County Open Space tax $0.079.

School tax $3.197

Total Property taxes - $5.923.

Agenda for tonight's Council meeting:

Here's the emergency appropriations on tonight's agenda for the 2023 Muni-budget:

Anyhoo, let's see where Mr. Shrink-flation's vision of a Political career takes us this time around after last year's Ridiculous $pending.

Always thought the $100-125K Day Care Provider would be offering-up Sage Advice

Well, you remember the 3 Amigos - Bob 'See No Conflict' Diehl who was Council President on the 'Committee of the Hole' who promised he wouldn't rest until they got to the bottom of that 2017 Racist Flyer. He then became Joshi's Chief of Staff.

Joe 'the Florist' Coyle, aka Mayor of Clara Barton, Poster-child for Wards who put out that video blasting Joshi and Patil before he did a 180 and then became Joshi's Hugs & Kisses Council President hindering public information and input at Council Meetings.

And Now Mayor Sam 'Shrink-flation' Joshi, aka Big-boy pants, the Event Planner and Sam the Flim-flam man - the hand-picked 'Malleable Marionette' of the powers that be from outside of town, who without the County stepping-in would still be on the Council dealing with his lack of credibility and trustworthiness.

As seriously dysfunctional as this stuff may be - it's hard not to have some Humor with the blatantly obvious:

Anyhoo, never let the politically corrupt think they won anything but more corruption.

Edison Dem-party Committee Member Primary Election Results

Well, saw the results up on the Middlesex County website after the County's attempt to take over the EDO to help their Malleable Marionette - Mayor Sam 'Shrink-flation' Joshi, aka Big-boy pants, the Event Planner and now Sam, the Flim-flam Man.

Guess when you can't convince your own Dem-party Committee Members on the Merits, you just try and replace them. Can't have anyone pointing out the idiocracy of a Dem-party Ladder Climber who's like a kid in a candy store, haphazardly $pending someone else's money. Just look at his 2023 Muni Budget - oh wait, you can't since he hasn't put in out yet and year's almost half-over. You'll have to look at his 2022 Muni Budget.

Here's snapshot of the First 3 Districts - converted to an Excel file so you can drill-down and search it:

Anyone who is interested in seeing how this turned out is welcome to it. Just drop me an email.

Anyhoo, makes sense that the County gets to pick the Committee People, that's how we got 'Mr. Shrink-flation.'

Congratulations Edison Voters for Carrying forward the Politically Corrupt Column B to the General Election

Well, not surprising and not much of a turnout but for those who Smelled the Stench and Voted against endorsing and carrying forward political corruption with this County takeover of the town and for those who didn't bother to vote - better break out your face masks again to Block the Stench Hanging Over this Town from that 2017 Racist Flyer until the General Election.

Not for nothing but those of you who Blindly Vote the Party line, recognize that while you gave Brescher the most Votes you took away his Dem-party Committee seat. Duh!

Anyhoo, don't let the Politically Corrupt Stench Hanging Over this Town to Stick to You come November.

Real Jeopardy is making Edison the Permanent Home of the 2017 Racist Flyer with Column B's Political Corruption

Well, haven't you seen enough corruption in this town, which is now controlled by outsiders with a 'Malleable Marionette' who doesn't possess the strengths, characteristics, demeanor, experience or political acumen necessary to be the Mayor of a town the size of Edison - and a Clowncil that does what they are told?

A Vote for Column B will assure County control over Edison and the EDO and the 2017 Racist Flyer will leave a Permanent Stench Hanging over this Town.

Anyhoo, wake-up and Smell the Stench or you will no doubt regret it.
