Christo gets arrested at last night's council meeting. Really?!?

Well, just saw this video of the meeting and it's quite disconcerting that we have reduced ourselves to this type of treatment of residents.

You may not like what he says or how he says it and you may consider him a royal pain in the rear but surely there are ways to handle residents, within the meeting rules, who the Council feels act inappropriately.

Seems odd though - why are they so afraid of what this guy has to say in a public meeting? Maybe I missed it, but never before saw Diehl lose control of a meeting with Christo in attendance.

Not for nothing but didn't see the Council President order his removal from the meeting, just a warning before Christo was removed.

Be that as it may, not much of a fan of foul language or throwing out insults or innuendos when engaging but it seems that was what went on into the hallways.

Seems this thing could of been handled a whole lot better on both sides and without another black eye on the town.

Here's the video - language alert:

Anyhoo, no matter your views, use to be a time when tolerance and respect were important in this town.

Just a heads-up - 2021 Edison Sewer tax bills are out but where's the Sewer Budget for 2021?!?

Well, just got my 2021 Sewer tax bill and it looks like they are leaving the sewer tax rate flat to last year for Residential users. Take it they're doing the same for Non-Residential users but I don't know.

Last year's Residential rate was .4428 per gallon of water consumed and it's the same .4428 that shows up on this year's Residential bill.

Of course, you have to ask yourself how the sewer tax bills went out for 2021 and there's no Sewer Budget yet to be approved and adopted by the 7 Processing Clerks.

With the last 2 years coming in with a 4.9% sewer tax rate increase across the board, aren't you curious how they got to No increase this year?

And you thought there would be some Checks & Balances over Mayor Lankey's 2021 Sewer Budget.

Seriously, while the sewer tax rate may remain the same as last year - best you check out your usage against last year's usage.

Here's the 2020 Sewer tax rates for both Residential and Non-Residential Users:

Anyhoo, it's an election year and all that but you'd think they at least put out a budget before they billed you.

Councilman Rich Brescher joins in on the Edison Mayoral Race in November

Well, saw this piece here in Insider NJ just now. Looks like Democratic Councilman Richard Brescher is running for Mayor of Edison too as an Independent in November.

Gotta love this quote 'Too many misleading promises, too much negativity, I will run a clean campaign with no outside money and critique everyone's plans for true feasibility. I do have a real record of success.'

Geez, you think?!?

He joins another Democrat with Mayor Tom Lankey in filing papers to run as an Independent in November.

The Republican candidate will be Keith Hahn.

Bet you can't wait for these candidates to debate - with the obvious exception of Big-boy pants. With no record to run on and plans that only suit the Dem-party and Not the People of Edison, he won't be able to hide behind his puppet masters.

Time to get serious and real now here in the DemBadLands of Downtown Edison.

Anyhoo, Kudos to Councilman Brescher for recognizing that the hand-picked malleable marionette choice of the Dem-party is unfit for purpose.

Unofficial Results of the Edison Primary - the Malleable Marionette of the Dem-party is a winner - for now.

Well, here's the unofficial results from yesterday's Primary for Mayor and Council.

Congratulations to Margot - happy for you.

As for Sam 'the Weathervane Millennial' Joshi, aka Big-boy pants winning with no record to run on and only the support of the Dem-party elite puppet masters - it will be a tad-bit harder to hide his 'unfit for purpose' in the real race for Mayor in November.

Anyhoo, you get what you vote for - so enjoy more of the same for now.

Some more Local Dem-party support for the 'Spam' in EdisPam Joshi!

Well, have to admit that this is a good one I just got in the mail today from the Highland Park Mayor - geez, let me guess - another Democrat.

Seems the Mayor of Highland Park while twice saying she doesn't typically involve herself in the politics of neighboring towns - she goes ahead and shamelessly does it anyway.

Duh!

Not for nothing, apparently she bases her whole support on the fact that Joshi 'told her explicitly that he will work to end the racial, ethnic and religious intolerance that is plaguing Edison today.'

Well, there you go - Joshi told her he would so it must be true.

Double Duh!

Apparently, she doesn't require much to support a candidate from another town but if she's so concerned with her neighboring town - where was her voice regarding the racist flyer that's been going on now for four years.

With all due respect, Stop worrying about our town Mayor and geez, come up with a better reason to support this ill-prepared, unqualified malleable marionette who was hand-picked for the Dem-party in the most un-democratic way.

So, thanks for the endorsement - I'll file in the trash bin along with all the others from politicians who think they know better than us about who and what is best for this town.

Clue: it ain't Joshi.

Anyhoo, at least we're comforted in the knowledge that our neighboring town is so concerned with us but only at election time when it's call to attention by the Dem-party elites.
