Geez, if they can't control you, they'll just try and replace you - the Dem-party way!?!

Now if this wasn't so sad, it'd be Comical. It was bad enough that the County (who now runs this town) stepped-in again this year to overrule the EDO's picks for Council. Seems Rob Kentos and Lav Patel were dropped for Incumbents Joe 'the Florist' Coyle and Ajay Patil for the party line.

And you thought the Democratic party would be the party that respects the majority Vote of those elected to make the picks. 

Nah!

To make matters worse - have you seen this piece of work?

Now, this is funny on so many levels that it's hard to list them all - but let's take a shot at a few.

'The Mayor Sam Joshi Team' - yeah, the only team this guy has is the County since he is just a Malleable Marionette hand-picked by the powers that be to do their bidding. This guy couldn't even win the screening for Mayor last year and dropped out of the race at the last minute. A life-long Dem-party parasite who sold out the People of Edison for a chance to climb-up the politically corrupt Dem-party ladder who brings Nothing to the table from his time on the Council other than a demonstrated lack of credibility and trustworthiness.

So even with a Council that goes out of their way to block any scrutiny and review of his inept stewardship and a full-time day care provider provided for $100k, now to help their fledgling, they're going after the Dem-party Committee seats in the upcoming Primary. 

Not for nothing but from a quick look at the list, it looks like of the 156 seats less the 13 vacant ones - they're looking to replace 102 of them with a lot of women getting the heave-ho to boot.

That's a lot to be doing for a fledgling they'll bounce out of there after one term - after they done using him, of course. Other than being 'Mr. Shrink-flation, aka Big-boy pants - seems he's been reduced to being an Event Coordinator for the powers that be.

'Your Vote for County Committee Member will decide the type of leader who represents you...' 

Well, that's true - but Yikes, if he's the type of leader you get, then you know the Dem-party has an agenda but it's Not you.

'County Committee Members are the foundation of New Jersey's political infrastructure.' 

Yeah Right - that only works in this town if you're willing to go along to get along.

So, here's a thought - if you see your Committee Person(s) being challenged in the Primary by the County - don't bite on it. All you'll be doing is assuring a longer take-over and control of this town by the County long after they give their Event Coordinator 'Mr. Shrink-flation' the heave-ho.

And seriously, if you don't vote for Rob Kentos for a change towards the better, then you'd seriously be cheating yourself and this town. How much longer will you allow the Stench Hanging over this town to last from that 2017 Racist Flyer? The same characters are still around and they still haven't resolved the matter - now 6 years later.

Anyhoo, who'd ever thought this town would be reduced to being the Flagship for what Democracy Ain't. 

  

You Gotta Appreciate the Twisted Political Humor when your town is run by outsiders

 Well, seems the County stepped-in again on the EDO's turf and replaced two of the EDO's screening winners of Kentos & Patel with two of the screening losers - the Incumbents, Coyle & Patil.

Now, seriously, does anyone really think this is 'Mr. Shrink-flation's', aka Big-boy pants, the Event-Planners team?

You gotta think that some of those on this slate who saw this sign gotta be looking for the closest shower to wash the stink off.

Be that as it may, you really got to wonder why the County keeps stepping-in and overriding the will of the People elected to represent the People of Edison. Just as an aside, they might not have to step-in again since there's a purge on some 102 of the 143 Committee seats in this Primary election.

Last time they did it we got their Malleable Marionette, 'Mr. Big-boy pants who turned his back on the People of Edison for a chance to climb-up the politically corrupt Dem-party ladder. The only thing this guy brings to the table is a Nothing record on the Council and a demonstrated lack of credibility and trustworthiness.

And one of the reasons stated for replacing the EDO's selections was some allegation about a connection to the 2017 Racist Flyer. 

Well, if that's true why did they pick Ajay Patil for the line this time? Didn't he admit he had knowledge about the Flyer and he still sat on the 'Committee of the Hole' investigating the 2017 Racist Flyer?

Hmm..must be true what they say - there are no political friends, no political enemies, just political opportunities.

Of course, this is what happens when you let others run your town and why after six years with all the same characters still around - we still haven't gotten to the bottom of the 2017 Racist Flyer.

Anyhoo, how long are you gonna let the Stench Hang Over this Town with these people?

NJ School Rankings - Edison and Metuchen

 Well, saw this piece here in the Edison-Metuchen Patch about how Edison, Metuchen Schools Rank Statewide.

Here's the Summative Scores and Summative Ratings as described and included in the article.

'Summative Scores are from 1-100 and higher scores are better, and certain schools with lower scores are put into categories for support and improvement.'

'Schools are compared to one another based on grade level, as well, in summative ratings.' These are percentile ratings from 1-100, so a school with a rating closer to 100 is among the best of its peers.

Anyhoo, makes for some interesting queries about the scores and ratings with the  schools in town.

Top 10 Reasons why you gotta like the Board of Mythomania's Opaque School Budget Process

 Overseen by the Board of Board of Mythomania, aka Board of EdDems, Board of Hoarders, Board of Dysfunction over there on Mythomania Lane, at the cross-roads of Dysfunction & EdDem Streets:

10. Because you like how they already approved the School Budget for 2023-24 and sent it down to the County Super on March 16th - but you weren't allowed to know what's in it or see it yet.

9. Because you like once approved by the County Super by April 20th - you still won't be able to know what's in it or see it yet.

8. Because you like it has $pending of $339.9 million, which has a $38.6 million or 12.8% increase in it but you still won't be able to know what's in all that $pending or see it yet.

7. Because you like they have already arguably Hoarded some $50 million over there and that's before they just got another $73.5 million in State Aid, which is an increase of $25.9 million or 54.4% but you still can't see what they're doing with it or see it yet.

6. Because you like with all that money and after years of Hoarding they still won't throw the taxpayers a bone by reducing the School Tax Rate even when a reduction is approved by the NJDoE and don't forget the Cap Bank which allows them to add back the 'no school tax increase nonsense' in future years $pending but you still can't see why and what that's all about or see it yet.

5. Because you like that the School Tax Rate struck in this School Budget is $3.184 (Per 100), which is down 1.3-cents but the decrease isn't because they reduced any $pending, it's because the Rateables increased by $28.4 million but you still can't see why they did this or see it yet.

4. Because you like Not knowing what they plan to do with the Overcrowding after numerous disastrous plans to properly address it or how much the ETEA's 3-Year Contract Renewal will cost but you still can't know what they doing or see it yet.

3. Because you like Not being able to ask questions or raise objections about something that will Cost you $339.9 million, sets a School tax rate of $3.184 (Per 100) that represents some 54% of your Total Property Tax Bill but you still can't know what's in it or see it yet.

2. Because you like Not understanding that you don't have a functioning Board of Education but rather a Dem-party infested internal feud for power and control but you still can't see it yet.

1. Because you like knowing that You Won't Be Able to see what's in this School Budget until the Public Meeting on May 3rd but you won't be able to do anything about it then, it's too late to matter what you think or say with your comments or objections. They don't need your approval after it's already been approved by the County Super. Aren't you glad now you let them move the School Board Elections to November and Gave up Your right to Vote on these Out-of-Control and Mis-guided $pending, Bloated Pots of Money they call a School Budget?

Geez, Edison peeps - how's Outsourcing Your Town Working out for You?!?

 Well, that seems a tad-bit odd, doesn't it - that Local Dem-party Committee people duly elected by the People of Edison to decide who should Represent the People of Edison - are Not allowed to.

Something how that works, isn't it? As long as the insiders control the Committee, all is well. When the outsiders get control and heaven forbid, want to change things then, oh, that's a bad thing and someone has to step-in to right the ship.

Well, just saw this listing of the MCDO line. For Council - the 3 Incumbents, Coyle, Brescher and Patil got the nod even though Coyle and Patil lost the EDO screening. But hey, they have to protect the Malleable Marionette from public scrutiny of his inept 'Event planner' stewardship and can't afford to lose control of the Council. Besides, don't we need these people to continue working on getting to the bottom of that 2017 Racist Flyer - they've only been working on it for 6 years now.

And Wow - a quick down and dirty peek of the list indicates of 156 Committee seats less the 13 listed as vacant, the remaining 143 seats have replacements for 102 of them and sure looks like a lot of women got the heave-ho. 

Now in all fairness there may be a few Committee people who chose not to run this time but still - Nothing like replacing some 71% of the active Committee people in one swoop. If that doesn't tell you what's going on here, then I take it you think this is normal for the powers that be from outside of town to protect a Dem-party 'tool' who they will show the door after one-term.

Welcome to Edisoncounty where if you can't beat them, replace them. 

But hey, you have to find the humor in all this. Here's a Party that gives the line to an Incumbent Councilman but then turns around and takes away his Committee seat. Guess they don't care about his differing and/or dissenting opinions on the Council (they got their 4th vote again with Joe 'the Florist' Coyle) but just can't have him spreading the truth and upsetting the apple cart in Committee people meetings. Now if that doesn't make you shake your head and chuckle, nothing will. 

Time to Wake-up and Smell the Stench going on in this town. The County already has their Malleable Marionette, 'Mr. Shrink-flation' as Mayor and with their overruling the EDO, control of the Council and now their coming for the Committee people to complete the takeover and assure their continued dominance over this town.
