Well, tonight the Council gets to vote on Mayor Sam ‘Furlough Folly’ Joshi’s Bloated 2026 muni- budget of 181.1m, which comes with a tax rate of 1.558 which is up 6.6-cents or 4.42% over last year’s 1.492.
Here’s a down and dirty quick look and effect of any cuts the ‘Pocket Council’ makes to the 2026 Muni-budget.
Of course, if there are any cuts at all, I doubt they would be substantial or any where near what needs to be cut.
All it takes is 4 votes and you get screwed again financing the Dem-Party’s interests. I can count to 4, can you?
