Gotta feel for 18th District Senator Patrick Diegnan!?! Even in this Dem-controlled district, that's an albatross no one needs around their neck?!?

Well, saw this press release here in TapintoEdison about the upcoming election for 18th District Senator Pat Diegnan and State Assemblyman Rob 'Mr. Temper-a-Ment' Karabinchak.

Got to feel for Diegnan having to carry this albatross (aka, the EDO's Greatest Failure) around his neck. Though you have to give Diegnan credit for coming up with something positive to say about Señor Karabinchak:

'It is really an exciting time to be running. We are committed to conducting a positive, issue oriented campaign. As such, I am thrilled to run with Rob. He is a man with an incredible record of accomplishments both in business and as a member of the Edison council.' Can't wait to see those Council accomplishments in the campaign flyers.

Hmm..guess he obviously hasn't been to many Karabinchak council meetings - but it's the Dem-party thing to do, I guess.

And Karabinchak is Happy - 'I am extremely happy to be sharing a ticket with Patrick. He has been a leading voice in Trenton on some of the issues that we hold most dear, chief among them: our children and our schools. We are both excited to put forward our platform for bettering New Jersey.'

Now there you go. I'll bet he's Happy - Diegnan really doesn't have any choice in who his running mate is, just like You and I don't have a choice in this Dem-Party controlled Oligarchy we call Downtown Edison.

So, in the spirit of we get the type of government we deserve, let's help Rob out with his new campaign by repeating some things from his term on the Edison Council.

Top 10 Reasons why You want to Vote for Rob 'Mr. Temper-a-Ment' Karabinchak for the 18th District Assembly Seat in November:

10. Because You want Your Voice to be a Race to the Bottom.

9. Because You want Edison's Mistakes to be Highlighted at the State Level.

8. Because Charlie 'I Abstain' Tomaro endorses him and You don't see anything wrong with that.

7. Because You like Supporting Someone who Didn't Support the Chairman of his Own Local Party.

6. Because You want to Confirm that it's Okay for the Least qualified of Candidates for Anointment to this position to be Selected.

5. Because You like Helping Someone who is Only Looking to Help Himself.

4. Because Appearances are Deceiving and You Like Being Deceived.

3. Because You like Politics when it takes advantage of the People - Not Helping them.

2. Because You prefer Form over Substance in Your Political representation.

1. Because You Like someone Who has Switched Sides So Often and So Fast that He's Now Made Himself Permanently Dizzy.

And finally, let's help Rob out with some Bumper Stickers for this Campaign:

Vote for Rob:

- Run Rob Run - on Rob's Rear Bumper, on Bob's Front Bumper!?!

- why make him change sides again!?!

- he'll stabilize taxes..his own!?!

- he's Karazmatic..in his own mind!?!

- change you can believe in..from an incumbent!?!

- what could he possibly do right!?!

- he pinches pennies but takes your dollars!?!

- he's a Whiner..oops, typo, a Winner!?!

- he puts the 'Me' in Team!?!

- he'll make a Mean Face if you Don't!?!

- he has the temper-a-ment for differing opinions!?!

- help Him be all for Himself!?!

Anyhoo, let's hope Senator Diegnan is prepared for carrying Rob through this campaign by giving him the Cliff Notes on how a bill becomes law and the address of the nearest Charm School down there in Trenton.

Dr. Frank didn't know!?! Guess there's No Local News in the 'Bubble' Section of Edison.

Saw this piece here in the SL - 'Board President regrets signing petition for felon's school board race.'

Seems Dr. Frank had an hour long meeting with Mr. Dasondi and signed his petition for the Board of Mythomania - but didn't realize who he was until he did a search online.

Now, he says, 'After finding this out, I wouldn't support such a person because it's a position of public trust with a great deal of money involved.'

Well, while I can somewhat appreciate Dr. Frank's position - not so much his explanation.

Hard to go with the public trust thingie with a lot of money from a Board that already leads from behind Super Dr. Richard 'Looking for the Exit Ramp' O'Malley' with his Out-of-Control $pending and which has been less than transparent with the public on numerous occasions. Not exactly the champions of public trust here in Downtown Edison as far as I can see.

I like Dr. Frank and all but quite honestly - I wouldn't trust what goes on with taxpayer money over on Mythomania Lane one iota, much less with $235 Million.

But hey, what do I know - Let's hope he knows what's going on over there on Mythomania Lane before Super O'Malley makes it happen.

Anyhoo, this board is in dire need of change regardless of who Dr. Frank supports or doesn't support.

Assemblyman Rob 'Mr. Temper-a-Ment' Karabinchack appoints a Chief of Staff!

Just saw this piece here in the Observer Politics about The EDO's Greatest Failure's appointment of a new Chief of Staff.

Some notable quotes:

'A veteran of U.S. Senator Bob Melendez's office, (Shariq) Amad just started work for newly-minted Assemblyman Rob Karabinchak (D-18) of Edison.'

'While with Melendez, Amad, 26, worked in the senator's Washington D.C. legislative office on Homeland Security, Appropriations, and budget issues.'

'He is highly regarded in Edison and Middlesex County political circles. He serves as vice chairman of the Edison Democrats.'

'We'd been trying to get him to come back home from DC for a while, but he seemed to enjoy being down there in the Senate. He's a very talented guy, and now that we have him back, I'm proud that he's on my team," said Karabinchak.

Well, there you go - Karabinchak has finally accomplished something - he actually found someone who wants to be on his team!

Maybe it's me, but makes you wonder who really runs the 'DemBadLands' of Downtown Edison.

Anyhoo, good luck to Mr. Amad - must of been a tough call coming from the US Senate to be working for Señor Karabinchak. Hope he remembers to bring the knowledge of how a Bill becomes Law and the address of the nearest Charm School down there in Trenton with him.

Yin and Yang together again - who doesn't like to watch Clueless and Classless in action?!?

Well, it's interesting to watch when Charlie 'I Abstain' Tomaro and Rob 'Mr. Temper-a-Ment' Karabinchak get together. It's not too often that you get to see the Original Poster-Child for What's Wrong with the EDO together with the EDO's Greatest Failure!

But, there they were at the June 22, 2016 Council Meeting working the room. You remember that meeting - that's where the all-Dem Council selected Joe Coyle to fill Mr. Temper-a-Ment's vacant seat. Unfortunately for them, their guy didn't get the nod. Hey, gotta feel bad for Charlie - he worked hard trying to parachute his guy in to fill the seat.

So, let's see - we have a Dem Party County Freeholder and an 18th District Dem Party State Assemblyman in the audience watching Mr. Coyle (another Dem) get sworn in and listening to the Council's congratulatory and welcoming comments but, wait for it, didn't think it was important enough to go up to the microphone to make any public congratulatory comments themselves.

That's a tad bit Not Nice - especially when you see them sitting there in the back of the council chambers talking and laughing together like they were in 7th period study!

Hey, in a town where there are no political friends, no political enemies - just political opportunities, you'd think that someone would of told them to show some class and publicly welcome Mr. Coyle into the Dem-Party fold.

But hey, what am I thinking - this is Charlie and Rob, the two best examples of why the EDO is the Party that has made Edison Safe for Hypocrisy.

So, here's to Clueless and Classless in Action:

Well, guess you can't blame Charlie for holding his nose - look who he's sitting next to.

And speaking of Charlie 'I Abstain' Tomaro - that Freeloader Still-at-Large - good to see he still garners attention from his Dem-party friends when he speaks:

Anyhoo, the next time you're at the Dog Park and you want to know who let the dogs out - look no further than the EDO!

If Mr. Dasondi is ineligible to run for the Edison BoE - then he must withdraw his name from the ballot by the September deadline!

Someone pointed out to me this piece here in the HNT about the Candidates running for the three open spots on the Edison Board of Mythomania this November. One of the candidates in the piece, Nilesh Dasondi is an ex-con and apparently, is ineligible to run for or hold public office.

For purposes of full disclosure, I don't know the man but he did approach me at the Edison Farmer's Market a couple weeks back and asked me to sign his petition to run. He said he had kids in the system and wanted to help out the school district - so I had no reservations signing his petition. I'm all for people who take an interest in and want to run for the BoE.

Now, don't get me wrong, although I have never met Mr. Dasondi, I have heard and read about what Mr. Dasondi did and the price he paid for what he did - but it's not my place to determine who is eligible or not eligible to run for the BoE. He seems to think he is eligible by asking for signatures on a petition and there is a process in place that makes that ultimate determination.

Either way though, I don't have an issue with someone who does something wrong and pays for it and then tries to do something to give back to the community. I'm certainly not going to be the one to stand in anybody's way who tries to do something positive in an unrelated field under these circumstances.

Having said that however, if there is a law that prevents Mr. Dasondi from running for or serving in public office for what he's previously done, then clearly he needs to withdraw his name from the ballot by the September deadline.

Anyhoo, the other four candidates are Theresa Ward (the sole incumbent seeking reelection) Richard Brescher & William Araujo, both who ran unsuccessfully last year, and Xiaohan 'Shannon' Peng.
