Well, if you look back to the February 24th post you see the issue I had with Super Dr. Bernie 'ShiReferenDUMB-ER' Bragen's use of his @edisonsupt Twitter account. You can read what I said and what he said in there - and I asked for the Board's position on it.
Remember he used his title in his Twitter name, commented on the school district and I noticed he linked it to the school district's website while blocking opposing viewpoints and claiming it was his personal account.
Just got their answer. I'm advised that I'm unblocked from @publicsc1 (Edison Public Schools) that I didn't even know I was blocked from that one that apparently was just created in February 2020.
Further he no longer has his @edisonsupt Twitter account linked to the school district's website. Well, that's good.
So, here we are. We have a Superintendent of Schools with a School Budget closing in on $300 million using an @edisonsupt Twitter handle while commenting about the School District on social media and blocking any opposing views or challenges to what he's saying and the Board can live with this?
Ok, it is what it is but recognize that whether they consider this his personal account or not - why would the Board want a Super who blocks opposing views on what he says or does when opining on the school district?
Anyhoo, you have to wonder why if what he has to say about the school district is so important - then why is it blocked from public scrutiny?
