Well, looks like they are approving the 2023-24 Preliminary Budget tonight after all.
Here's the Resolution:
Seems the Hoarders that they be with all that Hoarded Money - that there isn't any Reduction in the School Tax Rate for the taxpayers. Not even throwing us a bone. While we don't know what's in this School Budget yet, we can get some information from the Resolution above and last year's School Budget.
Seems they're increasing $pending by $38,645,133 and offsetting it with a same amount in Other Anticipated Revene leaving the Local School Tax Levy the same as last year.
The School tax rate built into this School Budget is $3.184, which is down 1.3-Cents from last year's $3.197. That reduction in the School tax rate is due solely to the increase in the Rateables of $28,365,900.
So, if you live in that imaginary home assessed at $181,400, then your School taxes will be $5,777 and an increase of $22 from last year's $5,799. If you don't live in that imaginary home assessed at $181,400, then just take your home's assessed value divided by 100 and multiply that number by $3.184.
You can also just drop your home's assessed value below to get your info:
